What did you want to be when you were growing up?
I always wanted to be a chef/nutritionist. This very much differs from my current day to day. However, having a lot more time to spend at home due to the pandemic allowed me to pick up this passion and share ways for people to live much more joyful lives, eating much more natural and unprocessed foods.
Who were your biggest role models growing up?
My parents, my extended family and Oprah Winfrey
What is one thing that you would like to tell your younger self?
Trust the timing of your life.
What was a life-changing moment you experienced that shaped you into the woman that you are today?
When I realized that I was pursuing a dream that was set out for me that was never going to make me happy. It was at that moment I realized that I needed to take my life and my dreams much more seriously.
What made you pursue your current career?
My passion for people, and in all honesty the time that has been afforded to me as a result of being able to be at home more than usual.
What is a typical day like for you?
A typical day involves planning content, organizing myself, and literally ticking things off as I go. I try to take advantage of moments of creativity when they hit but I do try to keep a schedule.
What has been the biggest obstacle in your professional life so far and how did you manage to overcome it?
Believing that there was no space for me in the content creator world. In order to shed this belief, I had to realize that there wasn’t another me out there and that I had to shed all of the self-doubts that I had.

As a joyful person.
